Teen Volunteers Wanted at the Washington County Public Library
– If you are wondering what to do this Spring Break, or this Summer, the Washington County Public Library has the answer! The Library offers volunteer positions working with books and children at the Library's Summer Reading Program. Teens may volunteer from 4 to 6 hours weekly, preparing crafts, adopting a shelf, and helping younger children.
High school students, who need to complete 40 hours of community service, volunteer at each of our locations. They primarily help in the children's departments with the preparation of crafts for story programs.
Students with general inquiries about community service volunteering at the libraries or galleries should contact Zedra M. Hawkins at 638-1314 or kidsrule@wcplfl.com
If you would like to help and are available 1-2 hours once a week, once-a-month or even twice-a-month.
Thank you in advance for volunteering your time.
